Prologue - all is fire

Everything is fire, and it is good. We are the flames, we are one with the flames, the fire is within us and we are part of the inferno. Components, but never discrete, apart and ever-mobile, but never separate, never truly isolated.

The flame is everything. A single conflagration, needing no fuel, no medium, just eternal combustion, the free interplay of atoms and energy, endless and infinite.

We are? many. Impossible to count, for there is no division between us, no barrier where one ends and another begins. We are fire, and flame, flickering and roaring, always active, always leaping and twisting, exploring our incandescent existence with joy and passion.

Existence is a wondrous thing, an ever-changing maelstrom of varying intensities, densities, motion and shear forces. Sometimes we group together as a pulsing region of intensity, sometimes we seek out the quieter places, bringing light to the comparative darkness. Sometimes we dance, or chase, or form shapes for our own amusement. We are, more than anything, alive, and we and free of all constraints.

We are fire. Fire is all.
